- 3/23/2007: Updated the LTC Articles page with listings for Linear Technology
Magazine, and some early excerpts from the June 1991 premier issue. Started embedded links from What's New.
- 3/22/2007: A new article, "Sources 101", on the design, testing and use of
current source circuits is published in AudioXpress, the 4/07 issue, p10. This is Part 1 of 2, and will be available on the AudioXpress website in due time.
Also updated the Contact Us page with a spam-proof address (Note: the actual address hasn't changed, just the display).
- 3/14/2007: Introduced a new LTC Articles page, with the purpose of
highlighting selected applications done for Linear Technology Corporation. The first entry here is the LT1115 microphone preamp, to be followed (hopefully soon) by many others .
- 1/04/2007: Updated Links of Interest page with new contact/source information
for the Andy Weekes PCB design.
- 12/22/2006: Updated ADI Books page with the addition of Robert Demrow's
classic article on op amps and instrumentation amps within systems.
- 11/14/2006: Updated Links of Interest page with patent searches. Also, revised

- 02/19/2006: I'm curious about the interest in 'Don't Shun the Shunt Regulator', a
37 year old article that just happens to be among the leaders in current downloads. What is so fascinating about it? Can it be still useful even today? Perhaps. On the latter point, one could use a (still available) CA3086 array for the CA3018, plus a few other changes. It should work OK, or close to the original at least. I'll be happy to collect data on any such modernisation and post any results here for those interested. Or provide upgrade hints. Get a 3086 DS here: CA3086 data sheet .

- 01/26/2006: Added more SID/TIM material to the Classic Articles page.
Included is a 1977 guest editorial from The Audio Amateur, and the 1977 AES paper. Thanks to Paul Reid for his continuing encouragement on this topic (more to be added as scanning progresses).
- 01/25/2006: Added Links of Interest page, to highlight outside links which have
interests common to this site, and feature unusual qualities.
- 01/19/2006: By request, added 'An Overview of SID and TIM' to the Classic
Articles page.
- 01/16/2006: Updated the ADI Books page with a new link to Chuck Hansen's
Op Amp Applications review, and noted the availability of (corrected) second printing copies of Newnes book, Op Amp Applications Handbook.
- 01/04/2006: Updated the Regulators and References page with the addition of
'Don't Shun the Shunt Regulator' and 'IC Regulated Power'. Revised main Index page to reflect 2006 and termination of Comcast site.
- 12/30/2005: Replaced damaged copy of Regs_for_High_Perf_Audio_1.pdf
under the Regulators and References page. Thanks to two visitors who alerted me to this. This is, incidentally, the most popular file for downloads.
- 12/21/2005: Updated the Regulators and References page with the addition of
'Getting the Most from IC Voltage References'.
- 12/16/2005: Updated the Contact Us page to take advantage of the visitor's
email program and the Mailto: function. Not many folks have tried to send mail... maybe this will help.
