relationship dating back to 1968.

  • 'ED Hall of Fame: 2002 Inductees' This award was associated with the ED 2002 50th
anniversary year, and was the result of a readership poll.  2002 Hall of Fame Inductees

  • Walt authored an analog-oriented column called 'Walt's Tools and Tips', which ran in ED
January 1997 through December 1998. Some of these columns (15) are archived on the ED
web site:  ED Archive of 'Walt's Tools and Tips' Columns

  • Among the more popular of these ED columns are those on audio. Specifically, the 'Op Amp
Audio' 1998 series of four such columns is available here, in PDF form, as the next four links:

  • 'Build  An Ultra-Low-Noise Voltage Reference' appeared as an ED Analog Applications Issue
article, June 24, 1993, pp. 74, 75. This idea shows how to use a low noise op amp as a
buffer amplifier along with a DC-accurate filter, to reduce the noise of a basic reference
source. Build An Ultra-Low-Noise Voltage Reference

  • Walt authored a 'Walt's Tools and Tips' column which discussed the problems of
maintaining high CMR in audio systems using balanced drivers and receivers. This
appeared in the ED special Analog Applications issue, November 17, 1997, pp. 45-49.
